WomanistRants from a Jamaican British Woman Thursday, July 27, 2006I am feeling very grumpy indeed. Why? About the world really. Iraq. The war that was only going to be a quick sharp shock, rages on. The Iraelis are apparently defending themselves by raining down 500lbs bombs on women and children in the Lebanon. That is just so civililzed! War and starvation continue to be the lot of most of those living on the African continent. The 5 thugs who murdered the promising young Stephen Lawrence are still getting away with murder, thanks to curruption in the police and honour amongst thieves and murderers. Bush and Blair are still seen as world leaders. There's a heatwave in England, and a water shortage, and my heart is bleeding for the gas and other utility companies. They've obviously once again lined the deep pockets of their greedy shareholders and we are left to pick up the tab.But I did wake up this morning and my various body parts seem to be working.
