I keep missing all the other rubbish on tv because every time I turn on the box, I am met with the face and voice of Blair. I simply cannot bear to hear or see this man anymore. And to think how excited and proud I was to have been a part of the 1997 massive who voted him in. At least I can say "I AM SORRY" "I AM TRULY SORRY". I am sorrry, I am sorry, I am sorry that I was of those who put a cross beside his name.

Please please Mr Blair, spare us the third term. I will personally forgive you if just hand over your leadership to someone who gives a shit and go move you, your heart and your cheesy grin into your New Labour three and half million pound house.

Am I becoming overly cynical? I woke up to the news this morning that a Greek airliner on its way from Athens to the the States had to make an emergency landing at Stanstead airport due to a security alert. An anonomous call stating that there was a bomb on the craft. So was there any speculation about where the threat may be coming from? Oh no, we had passengers being interviewed about how frightening the whole episode was and of course we were also told over and over again how well prepared the airport was for such an emergency. Everything went right we were informed. The aircraft was thoroughly searched, whilst passengers stayed the night in hotels. Now the craft is on its way, a bomb having not been found on board.

Shucks, it must be those darn terrorist trying to disrupt the Labour Party conference.
