The media and the American goverment talk about the Iraqi people as though they are a bunch of children who cannot possibly conceptualise the idea of death. I would have thought that if any nation of people know about horrible ways to die, it is the Iraqi people. It is vulgar, disgusting and utterly depraved for the public to continually have the bodies of dead foreigners displayed over our tv screens. Yes, dead foreigners, the bodies are always of Africans, Indians, or of people's from other so-described 'developing' countries. Showing dead bodies which have been shot up, or in some other way mutilated or staved, is simply another way in which the White media and governments etc. dehumanise non-White Europeans. It is hypocritical for this governement, the American government and both public to scream and shout when the bodies of a couple of their soilders are displayed in the media, and then to turn around and try to justify dysplaying the bodies of Iraqi's in the media.
If the Iraqi people apparently on mass do not believe that the Hussein brothers are dead, is it little wonder, with all the lies and spin that the whole world have had shoved down our collective throats in order to justy this war. And frankly it would not surprise me one little bit if the Hussein brothers and their father suddenly pop up in some cosy little tv studio to declare their continued good health to the world. What with the general incompetence with which this so-called war has been executed to date, it is not beyond the realm of possibilty that those wild-eyed American soldiers just shot and killed a couple of any old Iraqi's, body doubles, or whoever. It looks good doesn't it in their falling deck of cards? The dental records probably belong to Mr Bush's dogs.

If it is standing ovations Tony Blair wants, then I suggest he moves to America, cause he ain't going to get non here. And sorry to tell you this Tony, you will never be Churchillian. You are unlikely to even leave the kind of presence that Thatcher has and I speak as a former passionate Labour voter, who won't be voting labour again until they get rid of you.
You have evolved into the most royal pain in the arse Tony. For christ sakes man you have made the Tories look like perfectly nice politicians. You are making people like Michael Portillo sound positively leftwing. You have turned Labour politics on its head. And remember if Labour goes out of government at the next election, you head the lists of arrogant men at whom former Labour voters should throw rotten eggs at. I suggest Prime Minister that when you are finally brought back down to earth by us the voters that you pack your armani suits and move next door to your friend George and get a job licking his boots or something. Whatever you do, please don't take up law again, since you seem to have completely forgotten the meaning of 'truth' and 'justice'.

Oh what a quagmire our Prime Minister is wallowing in. He joins that other great christian Mr Bush in gloating over two more dead Iraq's, albeit this time, the dead sons of Mr Saddam Hussein. I didn't know that it was one of the tenets of christianity to kill people and then gloat about it, however nasty a character they have been whilst alive. Oh yes, are we now to be told that with all the allies fire power, they could not find a way of capturing these men alive and bringing them to justice, you know; a tenet of democracy, arrest; charge; bring to trial; find guilty or not, sentence.
History Mr Blair will tell of lies, spin, and more dam lies. Surely in the case of the Hussein brothers, it was more than paramount to capture them alive. The Iraqi people have stated that these men were tyrants of the most obscene kind. Why on earth were they not captured, if only for the information that they must have between them? And surely if the allies remain so convinced that Iraq possess weapons of mass destruction, who apart from the father would know exactly what Iraq has been developing in terms of WMD's? The Americans and the British have denied the Iraqi people the right to look these two montrous men in the face, and accuse them of the attrocities that we are told they committed. Once again the American's and British war machine have choosen to behave as policemen, judge and jury. Both governments continue to flaunt international law in completely self-serving ways.
One cannot help but wonder what secrets the Americans and the British really wanted these brothers to carry to their graves? Are their deaths really about assuaging the Iraqi people? Or, are there rather more sinister explanations, like the Allies again trying to save their own arses? History Mr Blair and Mr Bush will I am sure one day betray some truths, and I am sure it won't be the kinds of truth the two of you have been advocating.

So Mr Bush tells us that when Sadam is gone, the world will be a safe place. Yes right Mr Bush. Is Liberia a case in point? I guess it because the Liberians are feeling so safe, that Bush has decided not to send troops in. in.

The Governments position over Iraq grows more incredulous by the day. It seems now that Ministers care little about what they say to the public, because they are now convinced that the British public are as gullible as the American one. Not so Ministers, 'history as Mr Blair suggest may forget' the rush to war against Iraq. We the the people won't.
Mr Blair has to be one of the most untrustworthy Prime Ministers to have ever grace or should I say disgrace this country. The position he has taken over the prisoners in Cuba defies belief. What is this, 'if the Americans try the prisoners in a way that is acceptable to Britain' or words to that effect. What a load of absolute tosh. The American's have kept these men illegally locked up for over 18 months now. Now we are suppose to be happy that they have decided not to execute the British detainees. Can Mr Blair not find a little guts to acknowlege that everything the Americans have done in respect to these detainees is against international law, and infact fly in the face of their own legal system. We know that we cannot expect better from the American way of justice. This is the same Amerca afterall who captured on camera for the world to see the Black American Rodney King being beaten to death by White thuggish American policemen, and yet not one of those policemen were charged with Mr Kings death. We don't expect anything better from the American way of justice, but we do expect better from ours Mr Blair. I believe there is not a decent lawyer in this country who is not horrifed by Mr Blair's unwillingess to tell Bush that the detention of these men is illegal.
